We’re hiring a compassionate PCA for a hospice living case—$220/day, 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday). No car required. You’ll support daily living activities, provide emotional care, and help ensure client comfort in a respectful, dignified environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor vital signs and report changes
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate care records (HIPAA compliant)
• Administer first aid/CPR if needed
• Work closely with the healthcare team

Qualifications:

• PCA or related experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with hospice care, HIPAA, first aid/CPR a plus
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Experience in group homes or assisted living is a bonus

Responsibilities/Duties

As a Personal Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring clients receive their medications on time
• Supporting clients who are unable to move on their own
• Assisting clients with dressing, bathing, eating, etc.
• Helping clients with physical therapy exercises
• Cooking according to the client’s dietary restrictions
• Assisting clients with shopping
• Performing necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Providing emotional support
• Reporting unusual events to doctors or supervisors
• Acting quickly and responsibly in emergencies
   

Experience/Skills

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant
• Committed to health and safety
• Able to perform household tasks and cook
• Organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and compassionate attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Physical stamina
• CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
